Jenny's Weight Loss Progress

Maree's Weight Loss Progress

Non scale victory!

A NSV today - went to Max (one of my favourite clothing stores) and tried on a pair of size 16 trousers (they only go to a 16 and I wouldn't normally go near their trousers) - and they fitted perfectly! Here's the pair:

That is not my bottom half, however!! I didn't end up buying them but I was very happy! One of the best things about losing weight is being able to buy more clothes as the "normal" ranges are cheaper than the fat ladies' shops (apologies if the name offends anyone but Jenny and I have always told it like it is!!.

  1. I think you showed a lot of restraint! I would have probably bought them in every colour and worn the tag on the outside (lol!)

  2. I can't wait to buy "regular" size clothes-top and bottom at "regular" stores. Great NSV. Also read the corn saga-I love corn on the cob so hope I can get some down. I'm told it is almost universally not band friendly so I guess you joined that club. Oh summer sweet corn... We have snow right now. Last year on this exact day (17th/18th) we were flying to New Zealand. Wish I was back.

  3. Congrats on the NSV. One of the things I'm looking foward to most is being able to shop in regular stores. The options are so much better.

  4. Sandy Lee - how cool that you've been to New Zealand - we're a long way from anywhere so it takes some dedication to get here!!

Thanks for the comments, band buddies - it's great to hear from you and I'm enjoying reading everyone else's blogs as well.
